Recycled Rubber Flooring Uniqueness
Recycled Rubber Flooring takes rubber flooring in some unexpected directions.
Other rubber floors are content to sit it out in the same gyms and weight rooms. But not recycled rubber, which goes a lot further.
Using advanced technology, recycled rubber flooring are manufactured from recycled tire rubber. The "green," environmentally sound process uses ambient grinding to turn used tires into clean, 100% post-consumer rubber granules - which are triple distilled to eliminate all metal, dirt and fibers.
Next, colorful, UV-resistant EPDM flecks, made from 30% post-industrial material are added. Combine both types of granules with a polyurethane, water-based polymer in huge cylinders, and you get "polymerically bound" rubber of a uniform quality and density, neither too soft nor too brittle. Once peeled, it's ready to roll out. And any scraps go right back into the process - not to a landfill.
But the story isn't just where recycled rubber flooring doesn't go, it's where it does - in places where you might not have thought: bank lobbies and boardrooms, laundromats and lunchrooms, malls and museums, even outdoor theme parks.
So just how far can green go? That's up to you.
Recycled Rubber flooring is on a roll.
Unlike many conventional rubber floors that are only available in tiles, rubber floors gives specifiers another, less-expensive option with rolls.
Got a large hall and you want to cut down the number of seams on the floor? No problem. rubber floors comes in standard 4' x 50' rolls. That ought to cover it.
What about installation? Rubber floor is flexible when your schedule isn't. Whether you're building or renovating, our product goes down easy, ready for all traffic in less than 24 hours. Our rolls allow for a fast, easy installation, and can even be cut on site. And together with our special adhesive, rubber fooring is designed to solve most moisture problems. (It takes a lot of work to be an overnight sensation.)
But maybe you want tiles, so your movie theater floors can have a checkerboard design. We can do that too, giving you aisles of tiles for smaller-scale floors or unique pattern layouts.
Whichever form functions best for you, rubber floor has it.
